The Work
What I Build
I develop full courses and units for schools that want their students to engage seriously with history, literature, and Jewish life — not as isolated subjects, but as a coherent tradition worth inheriting. My curriculum is designed to be taught, not just filed away: it gives teachers clear materials, rich content, and the flexibility to make it their own.
I work with Jewish day schools, religious schools, and classical or humanities-focused institutions from grades 4 through 12. Each engagement includes finished materials and ongoing consultation during implementation.
Subject Areas
Courses & Programs
American History
From the founding to the present, with an emphasis on civic formation, primary sources, and the ideas that shaped the nation.
European History
The sweep of Western civilization — ancient Greece through the modern era — taught as a living tradition rather than a series of dates.
Jewish History
Comprehensive Jewish history curriculum that connects students to their heritage with depth, honesty, and genuine excitement.
English Literature
Close reading, essay writing, and canon-building — helping students develop a relationship with great books and the ability to write about them.
Religious School
Highly engaging lessons designed to make Jewish learning come alive for students who might otherwise tune out — building genuine love of tradition.
How It Works
The Engagement Model
Discovery & Scoping
We discuss your school's needs, grade levels, existing curriculum, and goals. I learn what's working, what isn't, and what you wish you had.
Curriculum Development
I build the full course or unit — lessons, materials, readings, assessments — delivered as finished, ready-to-teach documents.
Implementation Support
During the first two years of teaching, I consult remotely with teachers to answer questions, refine materials, and ensure the curriculum is working as intended.
Ongoing Revision
Real classrooms reveal what works and what doesn't. I stay engaged to edit and improve the curriculum as issues arise.
